Outlook will replace Entourage in Office for Mac

On Thursday Microsoft announced that next year it will include Outlook in its version of the Office for Mac platform replacing Entourage. The General manager of Microsoft’s Mac Business Unit-Eric Wilfrid said ” The move will give business users of the Mac version of the suite more of the same features Microsoft already offers for people using Office on Windows.” This was told by him in the teleconference on Thursday. On september 15 Microsoft will reduce the number of editions of Office 2008 for Mac from three to two when it releases a new Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac business edition.

The Microsoft will sell Mac special edition and cost US$399.95 and will continue to offer Office 2008 for Mac student edition and Mac home for $149.95.
